QUARANTINE UPDATE

Say hey, everyone. I wanted to pop on here with an update on Wamingo's current production schedule. Things, of course, have ground to a near halt due to COVID-19 and the need to quarantine ourselves to help slow the virus' spread. We had promised to have the latest installment in my Sidoria Saga, "Marauder's Glory" out last month along with the free album "Sidoria: Songs From The Deadlands", but then my colleague and best friend, Dar Parsons, got sick. We don't know if it was coronavirus or just a severe fever, but the man was out of the loop for over a week as he fought off the symptoms. I wish him a speedy recovery. Dar is our company's main artist and he deals with the production side of the company, meaning that he supplies the artwork for most of our books as well as oversees their manufacturing.

The album is ready to go, but we have some issues with the cover artwork not being the right size and appearing fuzzy when blown up to fit the CD cover. Dar was about to take care of this issue before the virus sidelined him. But now that he is feeling better, we are good to proceed. We're hoping to get back on track here soon. 2020 has gotten off to a shaky start but we will persevere. One thing I plan to do more is update this website. When your business consists primarily of two guys with full time jobs and family to take care of, finding the time to juggle all the responsibilities that come with running a publishing company can be daunting to say the least.

Right now, we are concentrating mainly on maintaining our health and keeping quarantined until our government can get a leash around this virus. Remember, folks, COVID-19 isn't something to take lightly. Please wash and/or sanitize your hands thoroughly and often. If you have masks, wear them when going outside, and only go out when it is essential, like a weekly trip to purchase groceries. Let's all do our part to nip this thing in the bud before it can get any further out of control. Everybody be safe out there.
